The atmosphere of the Alentejo is worth it to discover: nature, landscape and, at some distance, the sea. You have all the possibilities to do that from our homes and cabins. There are 2 detached holiday homes in our area: Monte da Madeira or Ninho da Cegonha. The guesthouse Casa a Oliveira is located on our own property, for 4 people. Are you looking for something special for 2 people? Then we also have 2 comfortable shepherd’s huts.
Throughout the year there are many opportunities to see and do. Flowery nature in the spring and always sun in the summer. The nights are usually nice and cool. The intermediate seasons and winter have pleasant temperatures for action. Walking, cycling and then a nice glass of wine by the fireplace in the evening.
From 0-vale-da-mudança you can walk into nature along farmlands and reservoirs. Bring binoculars to view all the birds.You can indulge yourself in Roman excavations, nice little museums and picturesque little villages and towns such as Ferreira, Beja, and Serpa with old churches and ermidas, sometimes with centuries-old frescoes. Prefer something a bit quieter? Slow down your time by lounging with a book under an olive tree or floating in the pool.

A pool at home. Monte da Madeira and Ninho da Cegonha have their own private swimming pools.
Casa a Oliveira shares an almost private pool with Choupana Abilardo and ChicoZé.
All swimming pools are 10 by 5 meters. The depth ranges from 0.8 to 2 meters.

The Cabana is the heart of o-vale-da-mudanca and is located by our pool. The place to meet other guests, eat, play and talk together. It is a nice lounge area to sit in the shade and relax.
